Annual Investment Plan (AIP)

To operationalize the programs and projects included in the CLUP, the city’s AIP provides for the detailed listing of the interventions per sector. For interventions directly related to flood risk management, the construction of flood gates with pumping stations with earmarked and/or planned funding from the city LGU (PhP125 million) and DPWH allocation (PhP150 million). Other interventions related to flood risk management, but without specific budget allocation based on the AIP. These include: (i) formulation and facilitation of flood summit; (ii) maintenance of rivers, creeks, and drainage system; (iii) flood mitigation program; (iv) flood control program; and (v) installation/upgrade/maintenance of early warning system/devices (e.g., flood markers). It has also been observed that the programs and projects also exclude specific locations for the interventions.
